Absolutely! Hypnosis is a natural state of consciousness and I will teach you how to achieve that state.
No. You will be in full control. In fact hypnosis is an extremely resourceful state where you'll be in greater control to make the changes you came for.
I cannot make you or anyone else do things that would go against their morals, beliefs, or best interest like rob a bank, hurt someone, or give away all their money.
The terms or titles are interchangeable and no title is better than the other. Quite often a hypnotist can choose their own title after completing their training.
In some areas legislation continues to be discussed over the word "therapy" rather than "hypnosis." Many licensed professions want to protect the word "therapy" or "therapist." There is no licensing required for hypnosis in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Training and regulations are done by private organizations such as the National Guild of Hypnotists. So again, the terms of hypnotherapist and hypnotist are totally interchangeable.
I personally use both to help make it easier to find my services.
No, you will not be asleep. Hypnosis is a natural state of consciousness that you experience every day that's between awake and asleep. You will hear everything.
Hypnosis has a quality of extraordinary relaxation. It feels like laying in a nice big comfy chair and relaxing. You'll still be able to hear, move, speak, and be aware of everything going on around you.
Everyone can go into hypnosis. It's a natural state of consciousness. Sometimes people get hypnotized and they don't even realize because it can feel so normal. Then they may say 'it' didn't work.
Some people have volunteered at a stage show and don't get selected to be in the show. They interpret that as 'I tried and the hypnotist told me I couldn't be hypnotized.' In stage shows I'm looking to keep 5 - 7 of the best, most active, and animated volunteers. I will send people back to the audience even if they are in hypnosis.
My goal is to make sure that you have an experience and know that you were hypnotized.
Hypnosis is a great tool for rapid change. I would like to see you only 3 - 5 sessions for one issue and, in the best way, never see you again. I want you to leave with a wonderful and powerful change as well as leave you with tools so you can take care of yourself.
Some clients may come back for help with a different issue or the occasional tune-up. Yet, my goal is to put myself out of business rather than building a list of dependent repeat clients. I want raving fans who are excited to share this process with anyone and everyone.
Individual sessions are usually 60 - 90 minutes. Stop smoking sessions are about 2.5 hours.
